Providence Place is pleased to present Jayden Barber Live At Providence Place on May 14.

Following nearly a year away from live performances and a residency in Lisbon to work on his

forthcoming debut LP, I Don’t Confess It, Even To The Walls, Providence-born Portuguese and

Cape Verdean artist Jayden Barber returns home to a place he’s known before birth (his mother

worked at Providence Place when it first opened in 1999 until his birth in 2001).

Barber’s work has been featured in the WaterFire Providence Lighting Music Program, and he

has shared stages with Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails, Mute Records) and Benoît Pioulard

(kranky).
